In the week leading up to our Garden Party walk, the weather forecast told us to expect rain - possibly heavy rain - which was not what we wanted for such an event. We made plans for an alternative indoor venue, but our kind hosts decided it was worth the risk to go ahead outdoors - and this proved an ideal decision, as we had good sunshine for the walk and for the excellent refreshments to follow.

The walk itself was nothing out of the ordinary - 25 of us set out along the northern edge of The Neatherd, returning through the new cemetery grounds and back along the southern edge of The Neatherd.

But then ...

Philip and Brigitte did our 10th anniversary proud and we are most grateful to them for the trouble they took, and knowing the inevitable amount of clearing up afterwards.
