Our Bank Holiday Garden Party walk took place in the returning sunshine, making it the more welcome to end in a shaded garden with water and tea to drink - and the wonderful cakes we have come to expect; huge thanks to our generous hosts.

Our route was a modest one, taking in a walk past the windmill, over the A47 and back by Eckling Grange. Then it was through the grounds of the new cemetery (thanks to Christina Florczyk for the photo above!) before taking some less used paths through the land adjacent to The Neatherd and back to the start. It turned out to be a good route for blackberries.
