Coming beautifully between days of poor weather, our Friday walk had a clear sky with a cool, but light, breeze, making for almost perfect walking conditions.

Starting from the Windmill grounds, we made our way round the new building to cross the A47 then head east. Before too long, we turned north to reach Mattishall Road and cross back over the A47 and then Norwich Road. Then it was through the fringes of the now not-so-new housing to reach the edge of The Neatherd and the developing country park (and the course of the park run).

We followed the northern edge of The Neatherd to its western extent, then crossed the grassed area to walk down by the side of the school. The final section was across Norwich Road again and down Cherry Lane to get back to the Windmill, where most of the group enjoyed refreshments at the Partea Hut.
