A party of 19 took what in hindsight might have been called ‘The Back Alley Walk’ on Friday. Never getting too far from the town, we followed a range of paths, many of them between houses or alongside businesses in the town. But we also took in Rolling Pin Lane, crossed the Mid-Norfolk Railway on the flat and walked out behind Tesco to cross the A47 on the occupation bridge.

Return also brought us past the Memorial Gardens by the railway station. At the end, half of us took refreshment at Coco’s.
