Northall Green Walk
A walk starting in the centre of Dereham with a route to the north of the town.
There are no stiles or steps on this route, though there are two gates.
A full COVID-19 compliant risk assessment has been completed. The walk is about
6 miles, taking about 2-2½ hours, including a short break for rest and/or
refreshments (none will be provided, please bring your own).
Joining instructions will be given on receipt of your booking. Under Government
guidelines, there are some specific requirements we have to make. Your booking
on to this walk constitutes your acceptance of these requirements. For the
safety and well being of all, we reserve the right to refuse participation to
anyone who declines to follow these.
Bookings are based on your acceptance that
- no more than 8 participants can be accepted (plus the Walk Leader and a
designated Helper);
- the walk will be organised so that everyone normally keeps a distance
of at least 2 metres from all other participants (except those in the same
household or bubble);
- where this cannot be maintained (eg at pinch points and/or when passing
other people), a lesser distance can be accepted for very short periods; and
- your name and phone number must be given to Walkers are Welcome on
booking, and these will be passed on to NHS Track and Trace if necessary.
There is no requirement to wear a mask, though you are welcome to do so if you
wish. We suggest that you bring hand gel with you.
